Starting in 1957, Singer began a series of successful one man shows and exhibitions that would span the next four decades. Over the course of his career Singer was represented by galleries in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington D.C., and New York. During the seventies he also ran his own studio gallery on Long Beach Island, New Jersey.

Hal Singer continued to paint and exhibit his work into the late 1990's despite severe arthritis and failing health. He died January 3rd, 2003.
